Michelangelo at the Metropolitan Museum

On 11 January  2018, Carmen C. Bambach, Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, led a private tour of the exhibition "Michelangelo: Divine Draughtsman and Designer" for supporters of the Brodsky Fund. Ms. Bambach has previously organized exhibitions including Leonardo da Vinci, Master Draftsman, in 2003 and The Drawings of Bronzino in 2010. She is author of Drawing and Painting in the Italian Renaissance Workshop: Theory and Practice, 1300-1600 and is the world's pre-eminent scholar on Michelangelo and Leonardo.

Selected from 50 public and private collections in the United States and Europe, the exhibition examined Michelangelo's rich legacy as a supreme draftsman and designer.
