Biography

Ivan Govorkov was born in Leningrad in 1949. He was graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. In 1980 he has graduated from the art studio of Academy of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg. Now Govorkov is a Professor of the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he lives and works. Since 1990 he has often worked and exhibited together with Elena Gubanova. He has been a member of International Association of Arts (IAA) since 1993. Govorkov works in sculpture, painting, graphics and installations. His works are part of both state and private collections in Russia, France, Germany, USA, Sweden and Netherlands.
