In a time of uncertainty...

As many of you know, when the coronavirus pandemic broke out all over the world back in the Spring, the Brodsky Fund suspended its programs for an indefinite period. At that time, it meant that no Fellowships were awarded in the Spring of 2020 for residencies in academic year 2020-21, and that events were cancelled or postponed indefinitely.

This autumn, as the time arrives for our nominators and jurors to begin the process of choosing Fellows for residencies in academic year 2021-22, the Fund has made the difficult decision to continue the hiatus. The virus continues to be a major threat, travel is difficult if not impossible, and gatherings are banned.

We are optimistic that by this time next year, the Fund will be back stronger than ever as the nominators and jurors resume their deliberations.  Once it is again safe to gather, we look forward to letting you know of new and exciting events.

In the meantime, the board members and staff of the Brodsky Fund are working to ensure that the Fund remains strong and engaged and to plan for a bright future.
