Biography

Vera Khlebnikova was born in Makhachkala (Dagestan). In 1954, she was graduated from Moscow College of Polygraphy in 1977. Since 1985 she has been a member of the Union of Artists. In 1991-1993 taught illustration and painting in her alma mater. In 2002-2003 she taught in Bilkent University (Ankara, Turkey). Khlebnikova has also published a novel, «Doro» (Saint Petersburg, Aleteya, 2002). She lives and works in Moscow as an artists and book designer.
